Description:
This collection, provided by EvaluATE: Evaluation Resource Center for Advanced Technological Education, includes ATE Annual Survey reports and data snapshots from 2003-2015. "The survey collects basic information about ATE projects and centers, their organizational practices, and collaborative efforts, as well as their activities and impacts in the areas of curriculum materials development, professional development for technician educators, and technician education program development and improvement." The data snapshots show specific types of information that is useful for benchmarking purposes.

Contents:
This collection includes fifteen PDF ATE Annual Survey reports. These reports include a summary of the results of the ATE survey. Survey topics for each year may include the following: Grantee Characteristics, Evaluation, Collaboration, Articulation Agreements, Materials Development, Professional Development, Program Development/Improvement, ATE-Supported Instruction, and more.

Three to six PDF data snapshots are included for each year from 2009 to 2015. These data snapshots include topics such as Demographic Characteristics of Students Enrolled in ATE-Supported Bio-Related Programs, People of Color in ATE, ATE Evaluation Practices, ATE Professional Development Claims and Evidence, ATE Program Improvement Evaluation Practices, and many more. Five PDF documents of trend data are also included.

For orientation purposes Report_2009_SS-Bio-Related-Demographics.pdf is included as a separate attachment and offers a sample of the type of material included in this collection.
