2018 CAAT Conference: Testing Tomorrows Autonomous Vehicles Today

This collection, provided by the Center for Advanced Automotive Technology (CAAT), includes a conference schedule and five presentations from the 2018 CAAT Conference that discussed the status of automated vehicle technology. The PDF presentation slides cover current vehicle usage by individuals and service vehicles. Projections were made on how shared vehicle services could impact the population density of communities. The conference included a presentation by keynote speaker Carla Bailo, President and CEO Center for Automotive Research, titled The Future of Mobility; a presentation by Mark Chaput, the VP American Center for Mobility, titled Testing Autonomous Vehicles; a presentation by Jace Allen, Business Development Manager dSpace, Inc., titled Autonomous Automation: How Do We Get to a Million Miles of Testing; a presentation by Michelle Economu Ureste, Executive Director Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN), titled Impact on the Workforce; and a presentation by Bob Feldmaier, Director Center for Advanced Automotive Technology (CAAT), titled STEM Activities in Southeast Michigan.
