This Genesis learning science module, provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States, teaches students about the requirements and conditions of working in a cleanroom environment. Intended for middle school learners, grades 5-8, this module is broken up into six parts: Briefing, Exploration, Development, Interaction/Synthesis, and Assessment. These sections are accompanied by a teacher guide, student activities, video clips and student texts. Students will learn about "the complexity that is involved with both working as a team and in a restrictive environment." Educators can use this lesson to supplement their pre-existing curriculum and use it to meet the National Science Education Standards.
