Working Partners Toolkit

This Working Partners Toolkit is provided by Internet Scout Research Group and is intended to help educators strengthen their relationship with industry. The toolkit is divided into the following three sections: Partnership Models, Case Studies, and Resources and Data. The Partnership Models section includes a review of eight partnership models used to incorporate industry expertise into higher education. Partnership models include the following: Advisory Board, Curricular Development and Review, Faculty Professional Development, Incubation / Entrepreneurship, Instructional Support, Program Support, Sponsored Research, and Workplace-Based Learning. The Case Studies section is intended to help users gain tips and inspiration for implementing and sustaining industry partnerships. These studies are gathered from successfully initiated and sustained education-industry partnerships and illustrate implementation strategies, challenges, and impacts for the various partnership models. The Resources and Data section includes related resources and survey data.
