Manufacturing Skill Standards Council: Certifying the Industrial Athlete of the Future

These slides, provided by Automotive Manufacturing Technical Education Collaborative (AMTEC), were presented at the Manufacturing Pathways in Action Workshop held on March 17 and 18, 2015. This workshop demonstrated "a college's implementation of various award winning pathway models (Alamo Area Academics, Toyota-AMT, STC-NIMS) and national manufacturing certifications within those pathways which are complementary to the AMTEC Mechatronics Certification."  

Theses presentation slides provide information on the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC). MSSC is an industry-led, standards-based training, assessment, and certification system. The slides include an overview of the program and covers how the system works.
