Mechatronics Career Pathway
This collection from College of Lake County (CLC) contains four documents related to creating a pathway for high school students to CLC's mechatronics degree. The first item, Automation and Robotics Introductory Certificate 24ZC, contains a list of 15 dual credit courses that high school students may take. These courses count toward a CLC Mechatronics certificate. The second item is a short recruitment video designed to get high school students interested in mechatronics. This video is available in English and in Spanish and runs 02:23 minutes in length. The third item outlines courses needed to earn a Certificate and AAS in mechatronics at CLC, along with a list of professional development opportunities supported by the National Science Foundation. Finally, this collection contains a slide deck of a presentation on CLC's dual credit mechatronics program. This presentation describes mechatronics, provides examples of products that use mechatronics, and includes information on mechatronics training.
For orientation purposes, the Mechatronics Pathway outline is included as a separate attachment.
