Maritime Career Exploration Unit for Girls

This learning module, provided by the Southeast Maritime and Transportation (SMART) Center, is intended for female high school students and includes a 4-page career exploration activity and a short PDF slide presentation. The goal of the activity "is to expose girls to careers in STEaM (science, technology, art, math) fields, including maritime and transportation." During this activity students create a presentation that describes a SMART STEaM career field. The activity includes the following sections: Purpose, Duration, Materials, Task, Process, Homework Assignment, Evaluation, and Tags.
