Mechatronics AAS Degree Requirements

This collection is provided by the College of Lake County and includes three documents that relate to the college's engineering curriculum. The 2-page AAS Degree Requirements document provides a program outline of the college's Associate in Applied Science Degree in Automation, Robotics and Mechatronics. The program outline includes a description of the automation, robotics, and mechatronics field and types of jobs within this field. In addition, the program outline provides a full list of required courses for the AAS degree.

The other two documents are occupational studies that provide job projections in a variety of occupations that one might pursue with an Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics AAS degree. These job projections are for the years 2019 and 2020. The study Occupation Demand Lake County CLC provides a 12-page overview of occupation demand in Lake County, IL. The other occupational study, Occupational Demand Lake and Surrounding Counties, provides a 12-page overview of occupation demand in five counties surrounding Lake County, IL: Cook County, IL; DuPage County, IL; Lake County, IL; McHenry County, IL; and Kenosha County, WI. Both studies include information about occupational growth and decline as well as percentile earnings.
