Strategies for Business Engagement (Includes Credential/ Curriculum Alignment)

This webinar, provided by the Centers Collaborative for Technical Assistance, discusses the Business Industry Leadership Team (BILT) model and its adaptions. A BILT is a group of employers who partner with educators to co-lead a technical education program. BILT was developed by the National Convergence Technology Center under a National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) grant. This webinar describes what a BILT is, how it is different than a typical business advisory council, and programs that have adapted the BILT model.
