The programs are Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) and Programs for Educational Enrichment and Retention (PEER). These programs are part of the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences at Clemson University. PEER is a minority engineering program that focuses on recruiting and retaining African Americans, Latinos, and Native Americans. WISE is an outgrowth of the PEER program.
