These presentation slides, from Advanced Manufacturing and Prototyping Integrated to Unlock Potential (AMP-IT-UP), provide an outline of the science modules implemented in sixth grade classrooms at Griffin-Spalding Schools as a result of the AMP-IT-UP partnership between the Georgia Institute of Technology (GT) and the Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS). AMP-IT-UP is "a National Science Foundation Math and Science Partnership to promote workforce development and to identify and cultivate the next generation of creative STEM innovators." The presenters were Robin Samples and Shawanda Scott of Griffin-Spalding Schools. Modules discussed in this presentation are the Lava Flow Challenge, the Winter Weather Challenge, and the Earthquake Challenge.
