This 50-page resource, provided by the Center for Occupational Research and Development, is the second module of the Employability Skills Resource Toolkit. This toolkit is part of the North Carolina Community College System's Code Green Super Curriculum Improvement Project (CIP). The CIP project committee discussed the importance of teaching employability skills and identified eight competencies as a priority for integration across the curriculum. Eight modules were created based on these competencies.

Module 2: Communication provides "students with an overview of positive communication strategies" and "allow[s] students to practice many facets of effective oral and written communication." The module includes an overview of communication, presentation materials, seven activities, assessment tools, and videos and weblinks. Activities cover communicating on the job, giving and receiving instructions, adapting communication style, conflict resolution, and more.

The full Toolkit and the other individual modules are available to view separately.
