Employability Skills Module 8: Entrepreneurship

This 96-page resource, provided by the Center for Occupational Research and Development, is the eighth module of the Employability Skills Resource Toolkit. This toolkit is part of the North Carolina Community College System's Code Green Super Curriculum Improvement Project (CIP). The CIP project committee discussed the importance of teaching employability skills and identified eight competencies as a priority for integration across the curriculum. Eight modules were created based on these competencies.

This Module 8: Entrepreneurship covers factors that contribute to the success of new entrepreneurs. An overview, presentation materials, nine activities, assessment tools, a video, and weblinks are included. Activities business plans, networking, starting your own business, and advertising.
