David Reider (Ed.M., Harvard University), is principal of Education Design, INC, a research and evaluation firm in Boston. For over 20 years Reider with Education Design colleagues has led evaluations for projects supported by NSF, NASA, NOAA, U.S. Dept. of Education, and private foundations with a common focus on advancing STEM education. Areas of focus include engaging new technologies and processes for K-12 STEM education, broadening participation in STEM for underserved and underrepresented communities, and workforce development through STEM education. He has been active on proposal panels for many governmental agencies, has presented at conferences and symposiums (AEA, AERA, Department of Education, NSF, NEA) for many years and co-authored multiple publications on STEM education and evaluation.
