This video, provided by Columbia Gorge Community College, is the second part of a two part lecture that discusses power factor correction in alternating current (AC) circuits. During this lesson, viewers will "learn that power factor correction is the addition of a variable reactive element in parallel to an electrical load, adjusted such that its reactive power is equal in magnitude yet of opposite polarity as that consumed by the electrical load." This video runs 14:59 minutes in length. The first part of the lecture is available to view separately.
