Lasers in Medicine and Surgery
This 46-page resource, developed by the National Center for Optics and Photonics Education (OP-TEC), is one of three modules that cover optics and lasers in the biomedicine field. This module "covers the process of absorption of laser light by human tissue, reflection of laser light by human tissue, tissue effects, commonly used lasers, delivery systems, laser accessories and applications, and the use of fiber optics in medicine."
