Therapeutic Applications of Lasers

This 48-page resource, developed by the National Center for Optics and Photonics Education (OP-TEC), is one of three modules that cover optics and lasers in the biomedicine field. This module "covers medical lasers, beam delivery methods, laser types used in medicine, lasers in dermatology, lasers in ophthalmology, lasers in cardiology, lasers in gynecology, and lasers in dentistry." Sections are included on each topic. Also included are sections on prerequisites, objectives, and student laboratories. Two other biomedicine modules are available to view separately.
