Spectroscopy and Remote Sensing
This 39-page resource, developed by the National Center of Optics and Photonics Education (OP-TEC), is one of three modules that cover spectroscopy and environmental monitoring. This module "covers general and specific types of spectroscopy, an overview of common spectroscopic instruments, remote sensing, EM radiation interaction with several Earth targets, passive and active sensing, photographic images vs digital images, remote sensing platforms, and satellite remote sensing systems." This module includes the following sections: Introduction, Prerequisites, Objectives, Scenario, Basic Concepts, Laboratory, Problem Exercises, and more. The other two spectroscopy and environmental monitoring modules are available to view separately.
