High School Students: Find a Rewarding Career in Photonics

This 28-page resource, made available by the National Center for Optics and Photonics Education (OP-TEC), provides information on photonics technician careers for high school students. This resource includes background information on OP-TEC and the Photonics Alumni Council for Technicians (PACT), a preface and introduction that describe photonics education and careers, as well as short biographies of students who gained interest in photonics during high school and have started successful careers in the field after graduating from photonics programs.
