Initiating Industry Partnerships

This 2-page flyer, made available by Internet Scout Research Group, is part of the Working Partners Research Project and lists 10 top strategies from the Advanced Technological Education (ATE) community on initiating partnerships between academic and industrial institutions. The Working Partners Research Project "seeks to discover, document, and disseminate the key factors and core practices associated with industry/college partnerships within the ATE community." Strategies listed include establish personal contact with industry members, make it clear what's in it for them, access the networks and connections of your existing partners, utilize personal and staff industry networks, and more. The strategies include suggestions on how to accomplish each.
