Quality Assurance of Precision Optics: Under the Hood
This video, made available by the National Center for Optics and Photonics Education (OP-TEC), demonstrates quality assurance strategies for precision optics in a lighted inspection box. In the video, several types of scratch-dig references and a Loupe magnifier are used to test scratches and digs. Physical measurements of scratches and digs are demonstrated using a coordinate-measuring machine. The video runs 5:04 minutes in length.
