Safety and Common Equipment Introduction!

This 9-page resource, from the STEM Guitar Project, is an activity on general shop safety and equipment used during the construction of an electric guitar. This resource includes an activity description, learning objectives, safety equipment needed, safety precautions, a ten question pre-quiz, and more. Learning objectives include the following:

1. Learn some of the basic safety shop rules that everyone has to follow.
2. Personal Protection Equipment, (PPE) that everyone has to have during the lab time.
3. Learn some of the equipment that is going to be used during the construction of the guitar.
4. Students will be required to turn in a safety report every week describing how safe their classmates were and what they have to do in order to correct their unsafe behavior.
