This webpage, published by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is the homepage for the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). Information available on this webpage is divided into the following sections: Data & Statistics, Publications, Newsroom, Surveys, Census, About NASS, and more. Each year NASS conducts hundreds of surveys and prepares reports on "virtually every aspect of U.S. agriculture." A formal Census of Agriculture is conducted by NASS every five years. Examples of survey topics include farm labor and wages, chemical use, prices paid and received by farmers, changes in demographics of U.S. producers, and more.
