This Linear Equations KCL and KVL lesson, from the Contextualize to Learn project at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, is part of a series of seven applied electronics math lessons. In this lesson students solve and graph linear functions and focus on understanding the slope-intercept form of a linear equation. In addition, students conduct DC resistive circuit analysis utilizing Kirchhoff's Voltage and Current Laws and applying modeling techniques for analysis of complicated DC resistive circuits.

Two PDF's are included, a 10-page student lesson and a 13-page instructor guide with notes and answers. The expected total time for the lesson is five hours. This lesson plan includes prerequisite assumptions, course competencies, specific objectives, modeling notes, problem situations, and more.
