Module 6 - FLATE's Future of Work Caucus Update 2021

This video workshop, published by Motlow State Community College and led by Dr. Marilyn Barger, is part of an eight-video series from the SMARTT Project. In the video, Barger reports on an update from 2020's future of work caucus. The caucus project's goal was to "identify technologies in Florida's small to medium manufacturers that directly contribute to Florida's technician's skills gap." Barger outlines nine different areas that are transforming industrial production, describes the caucus' efforts to gather data on said areas, examines the responses received, and summarizes the skills results for manufacturers and educators. As a result, the caucus identified 37 manufacturing technician skills within six categories. The video recording runs 13:44 minutes in length.
