Solar Career Map

This interactive resource, published by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council, explores 40 solar-energy occupations, charts career pathways, and identifies skills. The map is organized according to area of practice and level of experience. Areas of practice include manufacturing, system design, project development, and installation and operations. Levels of experience range from entry level to advanced. Users can also use the map to explore advancement routes, multi-sector routes, and veteran job pathways. Job examples include mechanical engineer, IT specialist, solar fleet manager, and more. Individual job summaries are also provided.
