Pharmacy and Natural Healing

This video is part of the 2020 SciTech Lecture Series from Forsyth Technical Community College. This series of lectures and interviews is held every year and covers an array of science and technology topics. This interview features Amy Greeson, a licensed pharmacist from Natural Discoveries. Amy travels around the world looking for healers and medicinal plants. During the interview, Amy discusses traveling to the Amazon, deforestation, and filming these healers and plants before they are gone. Eventually, a film was created with the film footage and a non-profit called Healer Seekers was established. Amy also provides information about Natural Discoveries and what the company does, including collecting thousands of plants, create plant extracts, and funnel those extracts out to different companies and researchers.
