This 25-page report, published by Siberian State University of Science and Technologies, describes the design and construction of an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV). This report was created by Kraken’s Trap, a student group that participated in the 2021 MATE ROV competitions Explorer class. MATE ROV is a global underwater robotics competition for STEM students. The competition includes Explorer, Ranger, Navigator, and Scout classes.

In the report, a project introduction and company biography are presented. The design process is then provided, which includes information on the design's evolution, the production process, tools, mechanical components, supports, the electrical design, software, and buoyancy. Problems, difficulties, safety features, accounting information, and decisions for materials are then considered. The report also highlights team challenges, future improvements, acknowledgements, and links to resources. An appendix is also provided.

Manuals for each class and technical documentation from other teams are available to view separately.
