This 23-page report, published by Macau Anglican College, describes the design and construction of Sashimi, an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV). This report was created by Delta, a student group that participated in the 2021 MATE ROV competitions Ranger class.MATE ROV is a global underwater robotics competition for STEM students. The competition includes Explorer, Ranger, Navigator, and Scout classes.

In the report, an abstract introduces the project. Project management is also considered. The design rationale is then presented, which includes information on buoyancy and ballast, propulsion, the vehicle structure, the electrical system, control systems, and mission specific tools. Parts decisions, safety considerations, testing and troubleshooting, and finances are then considered. References, acknowledgements, and an appendix are also provided.

Manuals for each class and technical documentation from other teams are available to view separately.
