This video from Laser-Tec is part of a series of light and optics experiments. In this lab, participants measure the focal length of a double convex or bi-convex (DCX) lens. The tracing of light rays by an infinite source through a DCX lens and applications of DCX lenses for improving human vision are also highlighted. Equipment includes an LED flashlight, a flashlight holder, a DCX lens, a lens holder, measuring tape, a pencil, and white sheet of paper. The video recording runs 7:23 minutes in length.
