CyberPatriot: The National Cyber Education Program
In this video from the National Convergence Technology Center, Rebecca Dalton provides information on CyberPatriot, which is a National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Dalton also highlights the need for a cybersecurity workforce in the United States, the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, a demo software for the competition, assessment data, AFA Cyber camps, the Elementary School Cyber Education Initiative, the CyberGenerations program for senior citizens, and the Tech Caregivers certification program.
