PD Evaluation Checklist

This 12-page professional development (PD) evaluation checklist was created by Edmonds Community College. This resource is part of the Professional Development Formative Assessment System (PD-FAS). PD-FAS was created by the Formative Assessment for Advanced Technician Education 2 (FAS4ATE2) project.

This evaluation resource is an "original checklist of all the steps [...] identified to prepare [a] program for great participant learning and capturing relevant information for [...] evaluation reports." This resource includes objectives, a logic model, and sections on topics related to the following: before the PD, during the PD, and after the PD. After reviewing this document, viewers will be able to:

• identify the opportunities within the PD life cycle for evaluation and assessment,
• identify the steps necessary to integrate formative assessment and evaluation into your PD, and
• consider which aspects of the checkpoints covered might be relevant to your PD program.
