This video, from Internet Scout Research Group, features Advanced Technological Education alum Karen Wosczyna-Birch and is intended to accompany the 2022-2022 ATE Impacts book. This book showcases the important role that two-year community and technical colleges play in building the skilled technical workforce and provide evidence of the United States' critical economic need for technician education. The accompanying videos created in collaboration with Vox Television share the experiences of ATE alumni (students, administrators, educators, and industry partners) and the profound impact of ATE initiatives on their lives and careers. The book is available to view separately.

Karen is the State Director of the Connecticut College of Technology that represents all 12 of the state's public community colleges. In this video, Karen discusses the partnership between Asnuntuck Community College and local industry to update their manufacturing curriculum, and to address workforce needs in their home state. Thanks to ATE Funding, this program is one of the largest and most successful of its kind.

This video runs 6:35 minutes in length. Additional ATE Impacts videos are available to view separately.
