Water Purification

This learning module from the Northeast Advanced Technological Education Center (NEATEC) explores water purification. Educators can incorporate this module into an existing STEM class. Essential questions and objectives of the learning module are provided alongside New York state's common core learning standards. Teacher materials include an overview of water purification, background and experiment introduction slides, information on chemicals and materials used in an experiment, details on experiment preparation, resource information for instructor proficiency, information on special education accommodations and modifications, and details on assessments. Student materials include handouts, worksheets, and assessments. An answer key is also provided.
