Introduction to Pneumatic Systems (Part 2 of 2)

This video, published by Columbia Gorge Community College, is the second part of a two part lecture that discusses pneumatic systems through comparison with hydraulic systems, including a particular focus on the differences between compressible and incompressible fluids. This part of the lecture contains examples of the differences between hydraulic and pneumatic systems using double-acting cylinders. Also included is a chart comparing other features of the two systems, such as cleanliness and cost, and a discussion of safety concerns associated with pneumatic systems.
