Compressors and Compressor Control (Part 1 of 2)

This video, published by Columbia Gorge Community College, is the first part of a two part lecture that provides a broad overview of pneumatic compressors and compressor control. In this part of the lecture, instructor Jim Pytel discusses the reciprocating piston compressor, the rotary vane compressor, the rotary screw compressor, and the scroll compressor. Extra attention is paid to the reciprocating piston compressor's two phases: suction and compression.
