The Immune Epitope Database

This video, provided by Digital World Biology, is from the 2022 Antibody Engineering Hackathon, an event where teams collaborated to develop Course-based Undergraduate Research projects (CURES) for students studying biotechnology. In this video, presenters Sheela Vemu and Mallari Miko provide an overview and demonstration of the Immune Epitope Database (IEDB), one of the largest databases of experimentally-derived epitope information. Vemu and Miko discuss navigating the database, highlighting its many features, and offer tips for using the database to teach students. The video also covers the use of the IEDB analysis resources, such as the proteasomal cleavage prediction tool and DiscoTope, a structure-based antibody prediction tool.
