This video lesson, provided by the GeoTech Center, is from the seventh module of the Python and Geospatial Mapping course, titled Python Window in ArcGIS Pro. The course is designed for experienced users of Global Information Systems (GIS) platforms who are new to programming, with the goal of teaching them how to use Python to automate processes through the construction of short scripts in ArcGIS Pro.

In the video, Vince DiNoto, director of the GeoTech Center, uses the Python Window in ArcGIS Pro to explore two types of list function Python GIS commands: ListFeatureClass and ListFields. When used in a Python script ListFeatureClass lists specific features of a geodatabase while ListFields provides the fields in an individual file. DiNoto demonstrates both commands with example scripts.

The video runs 9:49 minutes in length. Additional resources from the Python and Geospatial Mapping course are available to view separately.
