This 13-page report, from St. Vrain Valley Schools, describes the design and construction of the underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) created by the Magikarp Industries team for the Ranger Class of the 2023 MATE ROV competition. MATE ROV is a global competition that challenges STEM students to build underwater ROVs to complete challenges. The competition is split into the following classes based on build complexity: Explorer, Ranger, Pioneer, Navigator, and Scout.

The report begins with a summary of each team member's role in Magikarp Industries followed by an abstract introducing the company and their ROV. The design rationale focuses on the construction of the team's ROV, while the systems section discusses the ROV's control system and camera system. Also covered is testing and troubleshooting, safety, safety features, future plans, and budget. A systems integration diagram (SID) is included.

Manuals for each competition class and technical reports from other teams are available to view separately.
