ITTSS Impacts

This 32-page report, published by Collin College, provides an overview of the ITSS Skill Standards 2020 and Beyond (ITSS) grant project, including project outcomes and impacts on educational institutions and employers. ITSS aimed to provide comprehensive skill standard content to better align technical curriculum with workforce needs. To do this, ITSS used the Business and Industry Leadership Team (BILT) model, which consisted of successive meetings with thought leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop employer-led standards. The report discusses the BILT process and SMEs, the ITSS Summit workshops, outputs from SMEs, and the dissemination of ITSS materials. Also included are case studies from institutions that adopted the ITSS process and BILT model, along with testimonials from SMEs, summit attendees, and more.
