This video, published by Columbia Gorge Community College, is the second part of a three part lecture on 3 phase transformers. In the lecture, presenter Jim Pytel covers the design, configuration, operation, and uses of 3 phase transformers along with "electrical devices used to step up, step down, isolate, change the electrical configuration, and phase shift 3 phase AC voltage." Also covered are standard 3 phase AC transformer naming conventions, simplified connection diagrams, displacement diagrams, and examine common Y, delta, and Z configurations. In this video, Pytel creates transformer diagrams and provides an in-depth analysis on a variety of transformer configurations.
his video runs 19:57 minutes in length. The other parts of the lecture are available to view separately
