Laboratory Safety Lesson Plan

This 2-page lesson plan, provided by Northwestern Connecticut Community College, includes instruction and in-class exercises that introduce students to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and industrial labs. Upon completing the lesson, students should be able to critically evaluate a lab for safety and identify the key differences between an academic lab and an industrial lab.
