Enhancing Engineering Retention with the Fun with Engineering Box
This webinar from the CREATE National Energy Center features a presentation by Khalid Tantawi, professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Tantawi shares an overview of the Fun With Engineering Box, a hands-on toolkit designed to use interactive objects to bridge theoretical concepts with real-world applications using a systems approach. In the Fun With Engineering Box toolkit, students learn fundamental concepts of electricity and magnetism through hands-on experiments. Tantawi discusses reducing math anxiety through visual learning, the role of the systems approach in engineering education, and how these instructional strategies can improve student retention.
This video runs 00:30:47 minutes in length.
