Certificate for Advanced Materials (CAM)
Certificates in Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) was a national project with industry and educational partnerships to develop and prepare educators to teach a new generation of composites technicians trained in Aerospace, Marine and Transportation, Consumer Products, and Medical Devices. The curriculum used the “Legacy Challenge Cycle” based on John Bransford’s ground breaking work. CAM worked with industry subject matter experts, partner colleges, and industry leaders to develop curriculum that teachers can use to rapidly prepare new and incumbent technicians for success in the manufacturing workplace.
