This presentation was given to the Workshop on Assessment of 21st Century Skills, held in January 2011. Filip Lievens from the Department of Personnel Management, Work and Organizational Psychology at Ghent University in Belgium describes a project in which a selection procedure is developed that measures interpersonal skills, creates a better image of the organizations, is for large groups, and selects out candidates. Lievens describes SItuations Judgement Tests (SJT), gives examples of SJT items, reliability of the tests against traditional testing, and implications.
