GeoExchange Site Safety Course Outcome Summary
From the GeoExchange Initiative at Gateway Technical College, this Course Outcome Summary describes the GeoExchange Site Safety course, in which students learn "the hazards associated with the typical active work site at a GeoExchange installation project" and the topics covered include "recognizing and preventing motion hazards, fall prevention, lifting safety and open trench/hole precautions." In addition to the course information and description, visitors will find learning outcomes in both core abilities and general education outcomes, and competencies. The Competencies section describes both what students are expected to perform, and what determines whether that performance is successful.
