Module Description:
This learning module is provided by Work-Ready Electronics and is the last in a series of modules that discuss data conversion techniques. This module covers analog-to-digital conversion and introduces techniques, specifications, and applications. Work-Ready Electronics modules are intended to be used either independently or integrated with current electronics curricula in college programs. This module is divided into three sections: Content, Knowledge Probes, and Learning Activities. 

Module Contents:
The Content section includes four PDF documents titled ADC Specifications, Analog to Digital Conversion, Applications of Analog-to-Digital Converters, and Types of Analog-to-Digital Converters. 

Four Knowledge Probes are included in this learning module. The Knowledge Probes correspond to a topic covered in the Content section and include learning objectives and a short quiz. 

The Learning Activities section includes two drill-down reports, two lab activities, and related files. The drill-down reports are titled Analog-to-Digital Conversion and Data Conversion. The lab activities are titled Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converters and Analog-to-Digital Converters. The drill-down reports include the following sections: Time Required, Equipment and Tools, Learning Objectives, Performance and Task Procedures, Deliverables, Introduction, Drill Down Procedure, and more. Labs include the following sections: Lab Summary, Lab Goal, Learning Objectives, Lab Preparation, Introduction, Lab Procedure, and more. 

For orientation purposes Analog to Digital Conversion.pdf is included as a separate attachment and offers a sample of the type of material included in this collection.
