Biology 211 - Lab 5: Plasmid Purification

This 1-page resource is the fifth in a series of labs included in the sequencing the genome of Pseudomonas fluorescens L5.1-96 laboratory curriculum that is taught in Biology 211 and Biology 275+276 at Bellevue College. This lab includes the following sections: Objectives, Before Lab, and In Lab. Objectives include: to spin down E. coli cells prior to alkaline lysis, and to execute alkaline lysis DNA isolation of a plasmid containing a piece of Pseudomonas fluorescens DNA.
