This 21-page report, published by Keith Grammar School, describes the design and construction of Aegaeon, an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV). This report was created by impROVise, a student group that participated in the 2021 MATE ROV competitions Ranger class. MATE ROV is a global underwater robotics competition for STEM students. The competition includes Explorer, Ranger, Navigator, and Scout classes.

In the report, an abstract introduces the project. The report then introduces the team and how they collaborated during the Covid-19 pandemic. The design rationale is then presented, which includes information on propulsion, motors, the frame, buoyancy, cameras, tether, tooling, control, and the testing process. Safety considerations are then explored. Next, the report considers financing decisions, troubleshooting, and community outreach. Team acknowledgements and references are then provided.

Manuals for each class and technical documentation from other teams are available to view separately.
